“Two parts Julie Andrews and one part Zooey Deschanel.” Lovely, an artisan line of beauty and skincare products, was trying to describe how they saw themselves. This startup imagined a brand in between cute, vibrant, and fun; and elegant, timeless, and mature. I found a way to marry these two opposing ideas, by staying timeless and steady with the logo, and pairing it with bright and dynamic packaging.
Lovely’s main focus is to encourage their consumers to take a moment and catch a glimpse of the little things that make life great. We really wanted to center Lovely on this idea of naturally lovely moments: The way the world looks from a merry-go-round, a cup of hot cocoa, or the first ice cream of summer.
